DOC News is proud to report that it has won the 2005 Bronze Award
in the category of new publications with 80,000 or more circulation from the
American Society of Business Publication Editors
(ASBPE).
ASBPE is a 750-member professional association of editors and writers
working on business, trade, and association magazines and their related
Internet publications.
Judging was based on quality of writing, reporting, and editing; value and
usefulness to the reader; editorial organization; interaction with readers;
and layout and design.
The awards for ASBPE's 27th annual competition among business-to-business
publications were presented June 21 at Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
and Museum. This year, ASBPE had a record 2,610 entries.
"These awards... represent the toughest honors to attain in our
industry, not only because of our comprehensive criteria but also because of
all the excellent publications that enter the contest," says ASBPE
President Rob Freedman.
